What FIXSCENT does
Controls evaporation
Sustained-release technology slows the flight of your most volatile notes — the bright citrus and florals that usually vanish first.
Guards the composition
Plays a protective role against photo, oxidation, and chemical degradation of the perfume components.
Softens the alcohol
Reduces the discomfort of alcohol and allergen odor on application, for a smoother opening.
Improves solubility
Enhances the solubility of perfume oil in ethyl alcohol for clearer, more stable formulations.

Not a claim. A publication.
In 2026, researchers evaluated FIXSCENT's effect on the controlled release of a model perfume's top and heart notes over 24 hours, using gas chromatography–mass spectrometry alongside trained sensory panels.
At 5% concentration, FIXSCENT prolonged top-note retention by 94.46% and delayed heart-note release by 59.97% — a sustained-release pattern most fixatives on the market have never demonstrated in print.

How to use
Add FIXSCENT gradually at 1–5% to your ethanol diluent under mixing, then add fragrance oil as needed. The published study found 5% to be the optimum for longevity. A specialized non-alcohol-soluble grade, Fixative BMV, serves applications such as tobacco flavoring where alcohol systems don't apply.
